LaKeysta is my nurse on the 300 wing and I am in room 303 and my name is Chloe Winters and I just want to say she is the best nurse that I have ever had. She is kind and caring. She takes care of business if you ask her to do something it is done. She is loving and understanding. He is a top-notch nurse and I love her very much I don't believe that she gets the recognition that she deserves and she is one of the reasons that Estrella has the ratings that it does do everything you can to hang on to this nurse because she is one of the best. So I would also like to add that the activities department cheri and Shalece. Are some of the kindest most caring people I have ever seen they take care of you if you have a need they make sure that they see what's going on and that they can help you with all your needs that you need. They are one of the cornerstones of this rehab and health facility. I want to recognize the CNAS who work on my wing Tim, Maci, Joseph, and Rose. They are very kind and work with very hard and make things run efficiently on this wing. Wound care Chelsea and Candy have taken very good care of my incision and my neck I went back to my surgeon and he said it looked fantastic and I'm so grateful for their good care fantastic job! I also want to give a shout out to occupational therapy Laura Jesse and Brittany they come every day and I go with them and they do a great job they are upbeat and make me feel I am doing better and better everyday they are helping me to feel my strength back and starting today I have to work on my neck now that I got my brace off . Yay 😁 and I also want to give a huge shout out to the kitchen for catering to my niece they do a great job here my food comes out and it's exactly what I want and I am very thankful to the kitchen and all of those who have helped me with that thank you so much you guys. Without all of these people that I have named on this review Estrella would not be the facility that it is so thank you so much. And I know there's other nurses that I'm not sure of their names that are fantastic on wings 303 but I appreciate your care and love. I would also love to add Jackie to the Estrella as a person that is a top-notch person that helps each individual that comes here to make sure that their needs are met she is the first person that came to make sure I had what I needed she is kind and considerate and loving too I tell you she is great at her job this place is run with top notch people we love you Jackie thank you.

Well, I highly recommend this place. I’ve been there but been here five times and I’ve been treated with the utmost respect all the staff, especially Jackie, who works to please everybody she’s always get a smile on her face and as a hard worker. The The nurses are absolutely on point. I don’t ever have a problem with my medication dealing with the nurses here. And it is a very family oriented facility. Once you get to know everybody becomes a family.

My mother recently stayed at Estrella, and in my personal experience this facility was absolutely unacceptable. The place felt dirty, run-down, and overall just nasty. Walking through the halls reminded me of something out of an old Stephen King movie—dark, outdated, and unsettling. There were times when the corridors had a strong smell of feces and urine, which was shocking and completely inappropriate for a place meant for healing and recovery. The environment did not feel clean or well-maintained, and it was nothing like what you’d expect from a professional rehabilitation center. Based on what I saw during my mother’s stay, I would never recommend this facility to anyone. No one should have to recover in conditions like this. If you’re considering Estrella for a loved one, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

As a patient care advocate, and former family member of a resident here, I can say my patients are always well taken care of at Estrella. They love the therapy team and nursing staff. They always comment on how wonderful, knowledgeable, and helpful the social workers and case managers are with discharge planning. The case managers door is always open and they assist with any questions or concerns I may have regarding my patients. I would recommend this facility to anyone for rehab or long term care.
